Job Summary

Vinfen is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team in a residential setting. As a Residential Counselor, you will provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP)
  • Implement treatment plans and assist individuals with activities of daily living
  • Provide overnight support and supervision in a residential setting
  • Participate in nightly cleaning and filing duties
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure high-quality care and services

About Vinfen

Vinfen is a nonprofit, health and human services organization dedicated to promoting the recovery, resiliency, habilitation, and self-determination of individuals with mental health conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and behavioral health challenges.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in a human services-related field preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain injury strongly preferred
  • Strong time management and writing skills
  • Current, valid US driver's license for at least one year
  • Ability to become CPR, First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment and MAP certified within 90 days of employment
