St. Joseph's Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with the scheduling, staffing, and operational aspects of the MRI section in the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans and provide guidance to MRI technological staff to ensure a high quality of work.
  • Assist in the orientation and training of newly hired MRI staff.
  • Utilize a variety of equipment, including the MRI scanner, power injectors, and computers, to enter patient-related information into hospital databases.
  • Contribute to the overall excellence of the department through commitment to personal excellence in technical and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three years of MRI experience required.
  • Advanced registry in MRI required.
  • Ability to explain clinical, technical, and diagnostic procedures to patients and their families.
