As an Emergency Nurse at CommonSpirit Health, you will be the first point of contact for patients in our community during health emergencies. This role requires a high level of multitasking, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize patients based on their medical necessity.
Key Responsibilities- Use emergency triage protocol to intake, discharge, or admit patients.
- Deliver stabilizing care to emergency patients of all ages as part of the larger ER team, adapting care to changes in patient's condition as needed.
- Provide patient care that is sensitive to and consistent with cultural values, beliefs, and customs.
- Engage in activities that benefit patient outcomes, such as patient experience initiatives, mentoring, etc.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Candidates must hold an RN license that qualifies them to work as an RN in North Dakota (either an ND RN license or a compact RN license issued in another state).
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Must obtain ACLS within one (1) year of hire date.
- Must obtain TNCC within one (1) year of hire date.
- Must obtain PALS within one (1) year of hire date.
- Must be proficient with computers and computer applications in the healthcare setting.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.
