Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer to join our team, focusing on building collaborative productivity apps. In this role, you will advance and innovate in our WebGL and 2D rendering technologies to deliver a polished user experience for our users. You'll partner with product managers and engineers to shape the future of our platform, transforming the way companies collaborate on design and plan products.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and develop large-scale, high-performance web frontends to solve complex business problems.
  2. Innovate and optimize our existing WebGL and 2D rendering technologies.
  3. Optimize performance and memory usage to deliver a seamless user experience in the browser.
  4. Drive systematic quality improvements across our reusable web components and libraries.
  5. Apply software development best practices, including code quality standards, code reviews, continuous integration, and testing.
  6. Show initiative and ownership in achieving goals, improving processes, and solutions.
  7. Collaborate cross-functionally to work on new insights and improvements.
  8. Mentor and guide other software engineers by sharing knowledge and expertise to promote innovation and a culture of learning.

Requirements

  1. At least 6+ years of professional experience building user-facing products.
  2. Extensive experience with Typescript/Javascript, Angular, React.
  3. Understanding of browser rendering pipeline, event handling, web sockets, performance debugging, and benchmarking.
  4. Experience in designing large-scale systems and solving for performance and memory optimizations.
  5. Hands-on experience with automated testing.
  6. Proactive communication and relationship-building skills.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills and interest in digging into new challenges.
  8. A strong intuition for UX.
  9. Comfort with taking ownership and ramping up quickly at a young startup.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience with 2D and WebGL rendering.
  2. Experience working on collaboration tools.
  3. Mastery of TypeScript and/or Angular.
  4. Experience in a fast-paced environment.
