About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Kindred Hospital - San Gabriel Valley. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in helping our patients recover and feel better about themselves by providing therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities.
The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology, and at least six months of experience working with an adult and geriatric population.
Responsibilities- Provide individualized therapy sessions to patients with communication disorders
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
- Instruct patients' family members or nursing staff on follow-through programs
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required
