Counselor Supervisor Job Description

BayMark Health Services is seeking a compassionate Counselor Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for supervising counselors and counselor interns who provide treatment and casework services to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and supervise all intake operations to ensure timely and effective patient care.
  • Review intake assessments for quality and accuracy, and make pre-admission decisions in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Provide direct supervision to clinicians, including in-service trainings, guest speakers, and literature reviews.
  • Maintain a small caseload to ensure effective patient care and supervision.
Qualifications:
  • Masters Degree in Behavioral Science or related field.
  • LPC, LADC, or LCSW licensure.
  • Previous supervisory experience and self-motivation.
  • Positive attitude towards chemically dependent patients and experience working with this population.
  • Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen.
