We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Texmo Blank in Warsaw, Indiana. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing preventative and predictive maintenance on various types of equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and downtime
- Respond to breakdowns in a timely manner to minimize production losses
- Conduct facility maintenance and repairs as needed to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to identify and resolve issues
- Utilize fabrication and welding skills to repair or replace equipment as needed
- Apply basic plumbing and HVAC knowledge to maintain a comfortable and healthy work environment
- Document all work orders and PM checklists in Upkeep Maintenance Software to ensure accurate record-keeping
- Communicate with the maintenance supervisor to ensure timely completion of tasks and to request additional resources as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician with a strong mechanical aptitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Familiarity with electrical schematics and the ability to work with voltages ranging from 480 VAC to 12 VDC
- Ability to run piping, electrical wiring, and conduit throughout the facility
- Experience with forklifts, scissor lifts, aerial lifts, and ladder climbing
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid US Visa allowing work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of experience in a similar maintenance role
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming
