As a Nurse Telemetry Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical, nutritional, psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, cultural, educational, and rehabilitative needs to identify problems and develop care plans.
- Implement and modify care plans as needed, communicating with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
- Provide patient and family education to promote healthy behaviors, support recovery, and enable patients to participate in decision-making about their care.
- Coordinate patient care activities with other healthcare team members to ensure efficient and effective care.
- Carry out physicians' orders accurately and efficiently, clarifying orders when necessary.
- Communicate adverse or sudden changes in patients' conditions to physicians, charge nurses, nursing supervisors, and families with specific and pertinent data.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Louisiana.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support or CPR for Healthcare Providers certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Associate Degree, Registered Nurse Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Shift: Nights, rotating weekends.
