We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician - Clinical Specialist to join our Diagnostic Laboratories team at VUMC. This role will be based at our Tullahoma Hospital Campus in Tullahoma, Tennessee.

• Perform laboratory testing and related procedures necessary to generate accurate and timely patient reports.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless workflow and effective communication.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
• 1 year of relevant work experience in a clinical laboratory setting.

We offer a competitive salary of $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will be eligible for a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
