Surgical Care Teams Podiatry Section LPN

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Surgical Care Teams Podiatry Section as a Nail Technician.
This role involves providing essential support to healthcare providers and RNs in delivering high-quality patient care to Veterans. As a vital team member, you will work collaboratively with patients, families, caregivers, and support staff, both internally and externally.
About the Role:
- Deliver secure and individualized nursing care to patients within the Specialty clinic setting.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with veterans, families, caregivers, and support staff.
- Initiate necessary actions based on observations of the patient's condition, performing duties with minimal supervision under the general guidance of a RN or Healthcare Provider (HCP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring timely and effective treatment.
- Work closely with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and make informed decisions.
- Cultivate positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, promoting a supportive and inclusive environment.
Requirements:
- Full, active, current, and unrestricted licensure as a licensed practical or vocational nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth.
- Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the appropriate State agency and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
- Able to provide documentation of proof of vaccination against COVID-19.
Preferred Experience:
- Podiatry experience or procedural care experience.
