Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts.
  • Create new general ledger accounts, account strings, and budget pooling.
  • Oversee patient care accounting and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with patient care divisions to enhance fiscal processes and financial reporting.
  • Maintain records of fixed assets, systems, and general ledger accounts.
  • Review and post payroll accounting entries.
  • Reconcile investment accounts and prepare related audit schedules.
  • Prepare schedules and gather information required by independent auditors.
  • Act as a financial representative for a cross-functional group of leaders evaluating system updates.
  • Adhere to internal controls while promoting continuous process and documentation improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with departments across the university and health clinics.
Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting concepts and principles.
  • Financial management and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with computer-based general ledger systems and Microsoft Office.
