At ProCare Therapy, we are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team in Silver Spring, Maryland. This full-time position is 37.5 hours per week and requires a DC PTA license for the remainder of the school year.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to make a real difference in the lives of students with severe physical disabilities. As part of our school-based team, you will work closely with PTs and other staff to deliver high-quality services that promote student success.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Physical Therapists in delivering physiotherapy services to students with complex needs
  • Provide hands-on support for therapy exercises and mobility interventions
  • Support students in achieving their motor skills, mobility, and daily living goals
  • Collaborate effectively with educational staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom settings
  • Maintain accurate records of therapy interventions and student progress
Requirements
  • A current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in Washington, DC
  • Experience working with children with severe disabilities, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A patient and compassionate approach to patient care
Compensation and Benefits
