We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Interim HealthCare. As a Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform under the direction and supervision of the treating occupational therapist and in accordance with the plan of care.
- Assist the treating occupational therapist in documenting a patient's progress and response to treatment.
- Teach task-oriented therapeutic activities designed to restore physical and sensory-integrative function.
- Communicate with the supervising occupational therapist, as well as other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team providing care to the patient in order to promote coordination of care.
- Visually and aurally observe and assess the patient.
- Participate in quality and performance improvement measures.
- Current licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state of Colorado.
- Minimum of two (2) years of certified occupational therapy assistant experience, ideally in home healthcare.
- CPR Certification (demonstration course required).
- Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations.
- Good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, resourceful and compassionate.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including pay of $60 per visit, competitive weekly pay with travel time, holiday and PTO pay for full-time employees, and medical, dental, vision, and supplemental benefits available for everyone. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in continuing education benefits and discounted courses through Colorado Christian University and Rasmussen University.
