Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week (clinician preference to be indicated)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Step Down Unit at Norton Women's & Children's Hospital - NN. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work every other weekend
  • Float to all units/facilities within the scope of practice
  • Handle a unit with 20 beds/cases
  • Manage top diagnoses/procedures, including Stroke, CHF, Pneumonia, Cardiac Arrhythmias, Sepsis, COPD, COVID, Respiratory distress, Fluid Overload, and Cancer
  • Titrate vasoactive drips, including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Milrinone
  • Utilize the Epic documentation system
  • Wear galaxy blue scrubs

This position requires an individual who can adapt to different units, work effectively with adult and geriatric clients, and has strong skills in telemetry, dialysis, and vascular access.
