About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced trial attorney to join our team in Jericho, NY. As a trial attorney, you will be responsible for handling a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial. You will work closely with our team to provide exceptional legal representation to our clients.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will possess outstanding research abilities, written and oral advocacy skills, and will be well organized, detail oriented, and have the ability to independently manage a busy time-sensitive caseload. You will be responsible for:

  • Handling a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial
  • Providing exceptional legal representation to our clients
  • Working closely with our team to achieve our goals
  • Managing a busy time-sensitive caseload
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A law degree from an ABA-accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
  • An active license to practice law in New York and be a member in good standing with the New York state bar
  • 1-10 years of insurance defense litigation/trial experience
  • Experience working in a paperless environment
  • Experience directing support staff on clerical and administrative matters related to lawsuit handling
  • Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $125,625.00-$160,000.00, with potential yearly incentive pay up to 16% of base salary. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including tuition reimbursement, professional designations, employee development, wellness initiatives, and more.
