Job Summary

As a Tax Manager at Jobot, you will be responsible for reviewing and preparing returns for C-corporations, S-corporations, partnerships, trusts, non-profits, and individuals. You will also handle complex returns for businesses and high net worth individuals, as well as assist with IRS and state tax audits. Additionally, you will supervise professional and paraprofessional staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and prepare tax returns for various entities
  • Handle complex tax returns for businesses and high net worth individuals
  • Assist with IRS and state tax audits
  • Supervise professional and paraprofessional staff

Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting tax department
  • Specific experience with business returns and high net worth clients
  • Bachelor's degree, EA or CPA required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and time management skills

Preferred Tools
  • Experience with research tools (RIA, BNA)
  • Paperless workflow systems
  • CS Professional Suite (UltraTax, Accounting CS/Workpapers CS, Practice CS, Fixed Assets CS)
