Speech Language Pathologist PRN Job Summary

The Speech Language Pathologist PRN plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care by evaluating, treating, and monitoring patients with speech and language disorders. This position requires a strong foundation in speech pathology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech and language disorders, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Supervise students and volunteers, providing guidance and mentorship to support their growth and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance clinical skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Masters' degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
