Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal functioning of our plating facility's equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and systems, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. You will play a key role in minimizing equipment downtime and supporting production processes through preventive maintenance and immediate repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production machinery and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
  • Work with plating equipment such as tanks, conveyors, pumps, and motors to ensure efficient operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Conduct equipment performance testing, making necessary adjustments or recommending replacements.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance logs, including repairs, parts used, and machine status.
  • Collaborate with the operations and production teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in equipment efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or plating environment.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or holidays if required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Comfortable working in environments with exposure to chemicals, noise, and varying temperatures.
