This position is responsible for performing visual and mechanical inspections of critical tolerances of machined parts, assemblies, sub-assemblies, and completed units using a wide variety of precision measuring equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic math calculations and be able to read and interpret blueprints. They will also have the ability to verify threaded holes, hole size, and other geometric features.

• Checks tolerance and performs visual inspection of machined parts, subassemblies, and completed units using a variety of tools and gauges.
• Verifies each step in the process is completed and recorded properly.
• Uses test equipment and gauges following engineering instructions.
• Summarizes, files, and maintains records and parts traceability.

• High School Diploma or GED required, 1 year of relevant coursework at a technical/vocational program preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in mechanical inspection process or machining/assembling processes.
• Basic understanding of how to read/interpret blueprints.
• Ability to verify threaded holes, hole size, and other geometric features.
• Legally authorized to work in the US, visa sponsorship not available.
