QC Laboratory Technician

Hire Support is seeking a highly skilled QC Lab Technician to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing chemical and physical testing on various products, including adhesives, paints, and coatings.

• Conduct analytical testing of bulk product and finished goods using established methods, including viscosity, pH, and % solids.
• Perform draw downs and record results in necessary spreadsheets.
• Identify out-of-spec product and communicate non-conformances with relevant parties.
• Determine and/or issue adjustments to bring OOS material within acceptable ranges.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain systems for obtaining, storing, and disposing of retain samples and lab waste.
• Perform visual inspections on finished goods to ensure compliance with product specifications.

• BS/BA in life sciences, such as Chemistry or Biology, or 5+ years of experience working in a laboratory.
• Excellent communication and basic computer skills.
