Job Title: Staff Pharmacist

As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in leading and directing our Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, while also supporting the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Safety: Ensure the safe handling and dispensing of medications, while maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmacy practices and regulations, while providing exceptional patient care and education.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards, while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, while identifying and addressing areas for improvement.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Personnel Management: Lead and develop your Pharmacy Support Staff, while promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, while ensuring accurate ordering and stocking of medications and supplies.
  • Financial Profitability: Contribute to the financial success of the pharmacy, while maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Loss Prevention: Identify and address potential loss or theft, while maintaining a secure and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Workflow Management: Optimize workflow and processes, while maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
  • No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
