Histotechnologist (ASCP)

We are seeking a highly skilled Histology Technologist II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and processing tissue samples for pathologists to examine and interpret. This role requires intermediate histology skills and the ability to lead and contribute to continuing education.

• Maintain processors, microtomes, stainers, and coverslipping machines
• Perform frozen section procedures as needed
• Conduct hazardous waste control and proper disposal of all biohazardous materials and chemically hazardous materials
• Perform IHC testing, including sendouts preparation, quality control, and system documentation
• Prepare reagents
• Label slides and distribute cases to pathologists

• HT/HTL (ASCP) certification
• 1 year of histology experience required
• Familiarity with intermediate laboratory chemistry
