Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director, Disaster Recovery for our Consulting practice in S&L Regulatory & Compliance. This role involves providing technical advisory services related to disaster recovery relief programs, including program design, management, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize federal and state disaster assistance;
  • Provide expert programmatic and policy advice on federal disaster relief programs;
  • Design and prepare presentations and reports to provide meaningful recommendations to clients;
  • Contribute to industry and regulatory publications and speak at external seminars;
  • Schedule, plan, assign, and review the work of team members working on assigned engagements.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of eight years of experience in a compliance or project/program management role, working with state and federal disaster aid programs;
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university;
  • Current and thorough knowledge of federal laws, rules, and regulations associated with federal and state disaster aid programs;
  • Previous experience leading teams, managing projects, and taking an active role in executing engagements.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $170,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location. KPMG offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision coverage, disability insurance, 401(k) plans, and personal well-being benefits. The firm also provides two firmwide breaks each year and observes a calendar of holidays.
