The Patient Care Technician is a vital member of the healthcare team at LifeBridge Health, providing technical and multi-skilled direct and indirect patient care activities. This role is responsible for supporting the licensed nurse in delivering high-quality patient care to adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance to licensed nurses in patient care activities
- Assist with vital signs, medication administration, and other patient care tasks
- Support patient mobility, transfers, and positioning
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Successful completion of Certified or Geriatric Nursing Assistant course required
- Previous experience as a CNA/GNA/Patient Care Tech in a hospital setting preferred
- CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant License required
- BLS - AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required
