- Educational Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred. Alternatively, candidates with specialty certifications and relevant nursing leadership experience may be considered in lieu of a BSN.
- Licensure: A current Registered Nurse license in the State of Maryland is mandatory.
- Experience: Candidates should have progressive nursing experience encompassing a broad spectrum of skills and knowledge. A minimum of three years in a nursing capacity is required, with preference for those who have held positions such as Charge Nurse, management, or leadership roles.
- Additional Requirements: It is essential to maintain unit-specific and hospital competencies, complete all mandatory training, and possess any necessary clinical certifications. Completion of Stroke Training within 30 days of hire and ACLS certification within 6 months of employment is required.
