Sterile Processing Specialist

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for processing and issuing medical/surgical supplies and instruments used in patient care. The successful candidate will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and prepare medical instrument trays for sterilization
- Clean and disinfect medical equipment and instruments
- Monitor and maintain adequate levels of supplies and equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Working Conditions:
This position is located in a healthcare setting and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols.
