Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform contract lab services with support and supervision, ensuring high-quality results and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct instrument demonstrations and analytical services to support instrument sales, showcasing the capabilities and benefits of Ebatco's products.
  • Operate advanced nano/micro scale analytical and scientific instruments, following established protocols and operating manuals to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Collect and record testing and measurement data, documenting observations and findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Prepare and deliver technical reports on experimental results and preliminary analysis, providing valuable insights and recommendations to customers.
  • Maintain testing and analytical instruments in optimal operating conditions, ensuring they are in good working order and ready for use.
  • Provide technical support and answer customer questions related to instrument operation and application, offering expert guidance and advice to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Perform installation and training for instrument products sold to customers in the field, ensuring they are properly set up and operational.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • One to two years of experience working in a lab environment or with advanced instruments.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of material properties, surfaces, and interfaces, nanoscience, and nanotechnology.
  • Excellent technical written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to customers.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, via car and/or air travel, to support customers and perform field work.
  • Customer service and interface experience is highly desirable.
