Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive virtual speech and language assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
  • Therapy Planning: Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to address students' communication disorders.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide coordinated care and support.
  • Progress Monitoring: Keep detailed records of student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Family Support: Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers to empower them to support their child's communication development.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Current California SLP license.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders.
  • Virtual Therapy Experience: Experience providing virtual therapy services is highly desirable.
  • Technical Requirements: Fast and reliable computer and internet connection (no Chromebooks or tablets permitted).
