Job Title: Construction/Maintenance Planner Associate

Arizona Public Service Company is seeking a highly skilled Construction/Maintenance Planner Associate to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction and maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as liaison with customers to ensure accurate understanding and communication of project requirements and expectations.
  • Coordinate resources for construction projects, ensuring fully staffed crews are available and equipped with necessary materials and equipment.
  • Analyze equipment subject to work order and determine labor and equipment needs for project completion.
  • Develop work packages for assigned areas, ensuring quality and attention to detail result in complete and executable work packages.
  • Perform design duties for simple construction/maintenance projects and provide cost estimates for time and materials.
  • Resolve differences by encouraging open communication and accurate interpretation of company policies and labor agreements.
  • Support all work management activities during outage periods.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or equivalent discipline.
  • Or Associate's degree in a related discipline with one year of combined experience in construction management, project management, engineering, or utility-related operations and maintenance.
  • Or high school diploma and three years of combined experience in construction management, project management, engineering, or utility-related operations and maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of company policies and procedures, environmental regulations, Labor agreement, APS Construction Standards, Accident Prevention Manual, OSHA standards, and rubber glove practices.
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer skills, including Word, Excel, Maximo, and MLIS.
