Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting our pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring accurate and efficient dispensing of medications, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
  • Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and manage inventory.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of pharmacy software systems.
