About the Job:
This is a 72-hour per pay period position that requires a minimum of 3-12 hour shifts per week. Every other weekend and rotating holidays are part of the rotation. The main duty of the position is to provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff, with additional responsibilities including collecting specimens, answering patient call signals, and assisting with feeding, dressing, and grooming patients. The C.N.A. is also expected to communicate with patients, measure vital signs, and assist in the operation of medical equipment. Other tasks include transporting patients, cleaning and sanitizing patient areas, repositioning bedridden patients, and providing information to visitors or callers.
