Physician - Hospitalist (PRN) Position

Purpose & Scope:

The physician is a vital member of the healthcare team, collaborating with other staff to provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients. The scope of practice for each physician is defined through the health system's credentialing and privileging committee.

The Physician supports objectives, budget, and performance metrics at the individual level, ensuring the delivery of quality clinical care to patients in a timely manner. This includes implementing quality control standards, risk management, and compliance programs.

Education:

A Doctorate from an Accredited Medical School is required for this position.

Experience:

One year of Medical/Surgical experience is necessary for this role.

Certifications/Licensure:

Licensed to Practice Medicine by the Virginia Department of Health Professions is required.
