**Job Title:**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Support Coordinator to join our team at McLeod Health. This role involves providing spiritual and emotional support to patients and their families in our hospice program.

**Key Responsibilities:**

As a Pastoral Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing spiritual guidance and emotional support to patients and their loved ones;
  • Evaluating patients' spiritual and emotional needs within the initial weeks of their stay;
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop personalized care plans;
  • Notifying patients' ministers or clergy about their care and coordinating community spiritual support;
  • Supporting patients' relationships with their own faith leaders;
  • Offering ongoing bereavement support for up to 12 months after a patient's passing;

**Requirements:**

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • An ordained clergy background (if no related degree);
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in theology (desired);
  • A minimum of two years of pastoral experience (preferred);
  • Participation in continuing education regarding end-of-life care;

**Salary and Benefits:**

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $95,000, dependent on your experience. In addition to the salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
