We are proud to be designated as a Spinal Cord Injury Model System by the National Institutes of Health, one of only 18 centers in the country.
Patient Demographics:
Focus on Stroke Rehabilitation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct neurological assessments
- Assist with adaptive activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide transfer and mobility training
- Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes
Collaborative Team:
As a Registered Nurse, you will work alongside:
- Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
- Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs)
- Nurse Interns
- Healthcare Providers
- Social Workers and Case Managers
- Respiratory Therapists
- Physical and Occupational Therapists
- Speech Therapists
- Art and Music Therapists
- Dieticians
Unit Capacity:
14 beds

Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in Ohio.
- Basic Life Support certification from AHA or obtain within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing or other recognized professional certifications.
