About the Role

Auburn Crest Hospice is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA, you will provide high-quality care to clients in their homes, working under the guidance and direction of our Director of Nursing or RN Case Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide care to clients in their homes, following established guidelines and policies and procedures.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and record client vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • Assist clients with medication management, including reminding them to take medication and supervising self-administration.
  • Perform simple diagnostic activities, such as taking oral or axillary temperature and obtaining urine and/or stool specimens for testing.
  • Assist clients with ambulation, including physical support and use of assistive devices.
  • Document visits and maintain accurate records of client care.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant, with one year of experience preferred.
  • Must be CPR certified.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a good working relationship with clients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
