Banquet Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Lead to join our team at Vail Resorts. As a Banquet Lead, you will be responsible for providing exceptional banquet services to our guests, ensuring that every event is executed with precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the setup team in the execution of banquet functions
• Assist the Manager with banquet set-up scheduling
• Provide prompt, accurate, and professional food and beverage services to hotel and conference guests
• Maintain strict Breckenridge Hospitality standards
• Perform conference setups, daily operations, and teardowns
• Ensure assigned functions adhere to the 24-hour setup rule
• Maintain linen and inventory levels
• Maintain equipment and keep it at par levels
• Ensure all work areas are neat and orderly
• Check banquet areas before, during, and after shifts for proper set and cleanliness
• Follow established checklists for opening and closing duties
• Responsible for security of meeting rooms
• Greets all guests in a courteous and professional manner
• Handles multiple guests efficiently
• Follows established Brand Standards for banquet setups
• Ensures all BEOs are followed and serviced in a timely manner

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to move heavy banquet equipment and furniture
• At least 1 year of Food and Beverage experience in a service or set-up position
• Conference, banquet, and/or high-volume restaurant experience
• Ability to work and maintain a flexible schedule
• Ability to respond and adapt to last-minute changes
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
