Job Summary

The Per Diem Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as-needed basis, providing flexibility and autonomy in your schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment
Requirements
  • Active Maryland or Compact RN license
  • Associates's degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing
  • BLS CPR certification
  • Acute care RN experience in oncology
