Job Description

Best Western Plus Wilkes Barre-Scranton Airport Hotel in Dupont, PA (near Pittston, PA) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

The Sales Manager will work closely with the hotel's revenue management team to ensure that sales efforts are aligned with the hotel's overall business objectives.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and marketing, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  2. Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with clients and stakeholders
  3. Work closely with the revenue management team to ensure sales efforts are aligned with the hotel's overall business objectives
  4. Provide excellent customer service and respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  5. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  6. Develop and implement sales reports and presentations to communicate sales performance to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in sales and marketing
  • Proven track record of success in sales and marketing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
