Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership and Direction: Develop and implement strategies to build and manage a robust Service Business Unit that offers recurring maintenance/service contracts, retrofits, machine installation & training, out-of-warranty troubleshooting/repair and spare/replacement parts.
  • Team and Talent Management: Lead a high-performing customer service team, recruit, train, develop, & retain team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
  • Financial and Operational Oversight: Manage the P&L results for the Service Business Unit, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
  • Customer Relationship Management and Business Development: Ensure Beckwood's customers are highly satisfied with our product & service offerings by developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, handling inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field and/or equivalent experience (8+ years in the service group of an industrial equipment manufacturing environment)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to build a strong rapport with co-workers & customers
  • 10+ years of leading people in a service environment
  • Experience managing 3+ direct reports and 10+ indirect reports
  • 3+ years of P&L exposure in a $10M+ business unit
  • 2+ years direct experience working with Sales, Service & Engineering leaders
