We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU)/Cardiovascular Care Unit (CCU) team at Community Memorial Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those with cardiovascular, respiratory, and neurological conditions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patients' vital signs, laboratory results, and medication regimens.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families.
- Participate in code blue and rapid response team activations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- 1 year of ICU experience required.
- Working knowledge of critical care nursing principles and practices.
- BLS Certification required.
- RN License required.
- Coastal community with a relaxed and supportive work environment.
- 23 days of PTO in the first year.
