Breast Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Breast Surgeon to join our team at the Mount Sinai Health System. As a key member of our multidisciplinary breast cancer care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our breast surgery program.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive breast cancer care, including screening, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Participate in weekly tumor board meetings and high-risk surveillance programs to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement clinical research projects to advance the field of breast surgery.
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and breast surgical fellows to ensure the next generation of breast surgeons is well-equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Board certification in surgery and fellowship training in breast surgery.
- Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Experience in clinical research and education, with a proven track record of publication and presentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
