Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Construction Management Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned construction projects from inception to completion.
- Act as the primary contact with owners and clients, fostering positive relationships and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Lead and mentor project team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and identify potential issues.
- Prepare and present project reports, dashboards, and metrics to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement initiatives to reduce costs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal development and client presentations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field (10+ years preferred).
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex data and regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Project.
- Ability to travel to project sites and attend meetings as required.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Strong understanding of construction law and regulations.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
