Music Therapist

We are seeking a licensed Music Therapist (MT-BC) to work part-time in-person for Aunni's Healthcare Services. This exceptional candidate will join our interdisciplinary team and provide music therapy sessions to children and adults with developmental disabilities.

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities through the power of music. As a Music Therapist, you will develop individualized music therapy plans, conduct sessions using various instruments and techniques, and guide patients in therapeutic activities to improve mental and physical functions.

• Develop Individualized Music Therapy Plans: Create personalized music therapy plans tailored to the needs of each patient.
• Conduct Music Therapy Sessions: Lead music therapy sessions using various instruments and techniques to promote mental and physical well-being.
• Guide Patients in Therapeutic Activities: Assist patients in engaging in therapeutic activities to improve their mental and physical functions.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
• Document and Evaluate Therapy Sessions: Accurately document and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy sessions to inform future treatment plans.

• Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Board Certification as a Music Therapist (MT-BC): Possess Board Certification as a Music Therapist (MT-BC).
• Experience with DDD Patients/Families: Experience working with patients and families affected by developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
• Teamwork and Training Abilities: Demonstrate excellent teamwork and training skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others.

A competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year is offered, commensurate with experience. In addition to a generous salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
