Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team in Columbus, OH. As an EMT, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care and responding to emergency calls in a timely and routine manner.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive wage of $20/hour with shift differential. You will work a 13-hour shift schedule to provide an incredible work/home balance.

Responsibilities:

Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Maintain all licenses as required by the state and the company.
Perform daily ambulance inspections to ensure the vehicle is ready for service.
Respond to emergency calls in a timely and routine manner.
Provide patient care and demonstrate ability to work well with people, both internally and with external customers.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
State EMT Certificate.

Company Overview:

Lynx EMS is a private ambulance service formed in Ohio and based in multiple locations across the state of Ohio and Indiana. We offer Basic Life Support (BLS) services, Advanced Life Support (ALS), Wheelchair service, and Mental Health Car services. We provide emergent and non-emergent services to and from private residences, emergency rooms, long-term care, skilled nursing, and assisted living facilities. We also offer behavioral health transports.

Must be a certified EMT in the state or able to obtain reciprocity to apply.

SHIFT/SCHEDULE: We offer Full Time, Part Time and PRN shifts. 13 hour shifts to give you an incredible work / home balance

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining all licenses as required by the state and the company.
  • Maintaining current valid Driver's License.
  • Daily ambulance inspection to ensure vehicle is ready to go at start of shift, as well as ensuring unit is ready for the next crew at the end of your shift.
  • Responding to all calls dispatched in a routine and timely manner.
  • Providing top notch patient care for our patients.
  • Demonstrate ability to work well with people, both internally and with external customers.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned or as required to provide amazing customer service.
EDUCATION: High school or equivalent

LICENSE: State EMT Certificate
