Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist, Per Diem, Union Campus

Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem MRI technologist for the Radiology Unit at Overlook Medical Center. The shifts vary, including every other weekend and week nights as needed. The hours are flexible, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI imaging protocols with accuracy and precision
  • Practice in accordance with state, federal, and professional standards
  • Demonstrate knowledge of MR imaging equipment, including setup, utilization, basic troubleshooting, and proper care
  • Evaluate MR scans for technical quality and abide by strict MR safety standards
  • Manage patient workflow and transmit images for interpretation using EPIC and PACS
  • Administer contrast media and demonstrate competence with IV skills
Requirements:
  • Completion of a 24-month AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT certification in MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • IV certification preferred
  • 2 years of MRI experience, with Siemens experience preferred
