About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Sales Representative to join our team at AMMEGA. As a key member of our Sales team, you will be responsible for selling conveyor belting and industrial rubber products to customers in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate cold calls and engage with new, existing, and prospective customers to develop a book of business.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge and provide samples or catalogs to customers.
  • Prepare surveys of customers' equipment and product needs.
  • Quote prices and prepare sales contracts for new and existing customers.
  • Work with inside sales representatives and other support staff to keep account activities current.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts.
  • Ensure timely submission of necessary information for national account reporting purposes.
  • Provide date of delivery estimates to customers and investigate and resolve customer delivery problems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • At least five (5) years of sales experience, with experience in industrial sales strongly preferred.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy-weight materials and perform occasional bending, stooping, upper body & arm rotation, frequent pushing, pulling, sitting, standing, reaching, and some climbing.
  • Leadership acumen, positive team spirit, entrepreneurial and customer focus, learning agility, ability to deliver what is promised, drive for change and innovation, and ability to build relationships through collaboration.
