Job Overview:

Under the supervision of the Administrative Director of Imaging and Physical Therapy, Radiology Director, and in collaboration with the Medical Director, the Radiology Technologist executes professional responsibilities related to various technical procedures that utilize prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging, allowing for independent judgment, creativity, and initiative.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for the evaluation, treatment, or care tailored to the age groups of the patients served.
  • Exhibits the capability to gather and interpret information in relation to the patient's requirements.
  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of growth and development, along with the necessary treatment spectrum for all patient demographics.
  • Ensures departmental compliance with the regulations and standards established by governing bodies.
  • May be required to operate in other imaging modalities.
  • Adheres to AIDET principles and is open to reassignment and additional responsibilities as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude.
  • On-call duties are mandatory.
  • If the Technologist is qualified in multiple modalities (C.T., M.R.I., Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Diagnostic Radiology), on-call duties will encompass two (2) of the specified modalities during the on-call period.

Qualifications:
  • MRT License in the state of practice.
  • ARRT Certification in Radiography is required.
  • BLS Certification is mandatory.
  • RRT License in the state of practice.
