Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct the design and execution of a variety of structural projects.
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings, collaborating with various disciplines and contractors throughout all project phases.
  • Contribute to the development and management of project timelines, financial plans, and resource allocations.
  • Address and resolve any technical issues that arise during the design and construction processes.
  • Prepare detailed structural specifications, select appropriate construction methods, and perform necessary calculations for effective design.
  • Mentor and support the ongoing development of project team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Possession of a Structural Engineering license is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in structural engineering is required.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary project teams for at least three years is ideal.
  • Familiarity with relevant building codes and design standards is essential.
  • Proficiency in structural engineering software and tools is necessary.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial.
