Duties and Responsibilities

Evaluate patients' conditions and develop tailored treatment plans.

  • Deliver respiratory care to patients with life-threatening and medically complex conditions.
  • Insert and remove endotracheal tubes as needed.
  • Foster continuous quality improvement in patient care.
  • Teach and counsel patients and their families on respiratory health and disease management.
Requirements

To be successful, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Hold an active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
  • Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
  • Current state licensure is required.
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
