As an LPN or RN, you'll enjoy:

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Caring for patients with diverse medical needs in settings like medical offices, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and schools
  • Collaborating with physicians, nurses, CNAs, and aides to deliver excellent patient care
  • Taking patient vitals, conducting assessments, documenting progress, and reporting changes to your RN supervisor
  • Assisting in carrying out physician orders, patient care, and prescribed treatments
  • Administering medication, operating medical equipment, and maintaining a safe environment

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
  • An active, unrestricted LPN license or RN license in the State of Michigan (BSN not required)
  • CPR certification
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
  • Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communication, and compassion
